I am a more of a traditionalist, favouring nothing more than capturing the reality of a scene or person. The light and ambience of various areas around Lough Derg is a favourite subject matter but I also paint other scenes from all along the west coast of Ireland. I paint mostly in oils but aiso like to torture myself with watercolours. I have had several successful exhibitions and many of my works are in private and public collections throughout Ireland and abroad.
