I regularly got into trouble for drawing in my school copies! I spent my working life in
Dublin and in 2018 I moved to Portroe, Co Tipperary. While working in Dublin I made sure
to source and attend many art classes in different disciplines. In May 2016 I completed a
‘Visual Arts Practice’ course at the National College of Art and Design. This course
provided me with the knowledge and skills toward a more contemporary approach to my
painting. I like to explore colour and light through the media of oils and watercolour. My
childhood memories, travels, dreams and exposure to the fantastic beauty around me greatly
influence my visual vocabulary. I look forward to many hours of drawing and painting in the
future and to the peace and joy that it brings.
